Good morning. This is what I should be doing right now….fishing in the Bahamas with my friend Mick. Tomorrow I will show you a picture of the nicest beach that I was ever on in the Bahamas. I feel very good today. I will have to make my entry for tomorrow tonight because I have to go to New Brunswick, during rush hour, and get all of my pretesting done for my surgery. So I have a lot to do right now so have a great day. Mike

Good morning. This is where I should be this time of the year. I love this beach in the Bahamas. It is Stocking Island and there is no one on the beach and no one in the water. The water was just beautiful (78 degrees). As for the sand, it was soft with bits of colored coral mixed in with it which gave it a beautiful color. My sister is here right now and here I am waiting for surgery. Maybe next year. I’m feeling fine. I’m up by 7:00 AM everyday and then I go on the computer everyday and skype the “girls”. I quiz them on their spelling words and I give them math problems to solve. I enjoy it and I know that it gets them charged up and ready for school. Well enjoy your day. Good morning. Check out these 4 lb. lobsters. Now that was some good eating. What about those GIANTS? It was a really tight game and they did not play with the intensity that they played with when they played the Packers and Atlanta. So for now they have to rest, heal, and then it’s “SHOWTIME”! I am feeling fine. At the end of the week I have to go for my pre-testing for my surgery but other than that, I’m free for the week. Enjoy your week. Mike

Good morning. This is a picture of me with Kira on my boat. Kaya is going to be honored February 3rd on the stage at her school as “Student of the Month”. We are all so proud of her. She studies really hard and always tries her best. We are expected to get some snow. I better go and get some gas for the snowblower. So with that I will be seeing you on Monday. Good morning. This is a picture of Martha’s Vineyard where I go fishing with my friends. It is so beautiful there and so peaceful. The fishing is great and the water is so clean that you can actually see 20 feet below the surface. It’s like opening up a Marine Biology textbook. I feel fine and with this weather am doing some really good cooking at home. Enjoy you day today. Mike

Good morning. Here are my two little princesses, Kira and Kaya. They went to the movies with their friend Lainy yesterday and then they went to Lainy’s house for a “play date”. They told me that they had a ball. I am feeling fine today. My surgeon told me that I was fine and that the strain that I felt happens sometime because it is not fully healed and I may have lifted something to heavy to soon. I have been lifting the garbage cans but they did not feel heavy. I guess it’s my “mighty” muscles. Enjoy your day. Mike

Good morning. Here is my buddy, BUJU. He looks so calm and peaceful here all curled up until you get near him and then he springs to life. I love him. My doctor (surgeon) asked me to come in on Monday to look at this pain where my surgery was. At least I’ll get a jump on this before my real surgeon comes back in two weeks. Other than that, I’m feeling fine. In fact I have been getting up at 5:00 AM everyday for the past three days and I have plenty of energy. I’m going to see the “girls” this weekend and my friend BUJU. I hope that all of you enjoy this windy, cloudy weekend also. Mike

Good morning. Here is a picture of my best friends who I either travel with , fish with, or just hangout with. All but one of them graduated from high school with me and we are very close. I consider them my brothers. I’m about to go to the dentist this morning as he got a cancellation which I am going to take advantage of. I called my surgeon yesterday and he is away until the end of the month. I feel that something tore inside me because I’m getting pain in my groin and down my leg. I’m just worried because I have my next surgery scheduled for Feb. 13 and I want to get this repaired ASAP so that it can heal before the next surgery. So as you can see, I’m in a little dilemma. I will call the surgeon’s office today to see exactly what can be done until he returns. Have a great day and enjoy this rain and wind. Mike

Good morning. Here is a light jazz group playing at the Raritan Bay coffee shop in the train station. It is a pretty cool shop with coffee , snacks, breakfast sandwiches, and lunches. It is also a place just to sit , relax, have a cup of coffee, get on your computer, and just relax. If you want you could even get into conversations with various people from town and find out what is going on. I guess it reminds me of the old Seaman’s pharmacy atmosphere where everybody just meets and has fun. I am feeling very good but that pain still persists and today I am going to call the surgeon that operated on me. I have to get better soon because I have so many opportunities to get away. My brother wants me to go out to Hawaii to see him. A friend of mine just bought a 44 ft. boat in Texas and wants me to go with him to bring it back by water. And my sister wants me to go to the Bahamas and teach for the Winter and get paid while the regular teacher has a vacation. So as you can see there are many openings for me….I just have to get healthy first. Enjoy this beautiful day. Mike
