FRIDAY – September 30, 2011

Good morning.  Here is another picture of the “girls” at Aunt Leigh’s birthday party.  I’m sorry for not putting an entry in yesterday but I was so busy after I got up that I did not have time.  I am feeling pretty good except for my lower back.  It is killing me.  I carried into my house two water bottles at a time and I was twisting and turning as I was carrying them thru the house.  I went to the doctor yesterday and I may have to go back again today.  I was planning to go to the shore to see the “girls” today and stay overnight.  Have a great weekend.           Mike

WEDNESDAY – September 28, 2011

Good morning.  Here is a picture of my two grand daughters, Kira and Kaya at Aunt Leigh’s birthday party.  These two girls danced all night.  They would comw back to the table just to get something to drink and then..Bam back to the dance floor.  They had a ball with all of their cousins.  I am feeling fine today.  I am working on next year’s budget for the marina.  I was going to go out on my boat today to try out the updated chartplotter but i’ll see what happens with the weather.  Have a great day.             Mike

TUESDAY – September 27, 2011

Good morning.  Here is a picture of the seafood station at the party that I went to this past Saturday.  I’m showing you this particular picture because I just about lived here all night.  Yes there were other stations but this station was fantastic.  I am feeling fine and did all of my chores yesterday.  I was hoping to go out fishing today but it is really foggy.  I do hope that the sun burns through and it turns out like yesterday because yesterday was beautiful.  Enjoy you day.     Mike

MONDAY – September 26, 2011

Good morning.  I was at a party this past weekend and I met one of the special guests….”Lady Gaga”.  It was really a fun party.  I am feeling fine today and I’m so glad that the sun finally came out.  It was warm earlier but cloudy and now that the sun came out, it is beautiful.  I have some chores to do and then I think I will take a boat ride and see how my chartplotter is working.  Enjoy this beautiful day.              Mike

FRIDAY – September 23, 2011

Good morning.  Here is a picture of Kira showing me her school uniform.  Both of the “girls” really love school.  I usually call them every morning before they go off to school and tell them to do their best and have fun in school.  I am feeling fine and have to go to my brother’s this morning to pickup a tux for a party that I am going to tomorrow.  Have an enjoyable day and weekend.  Will see you on Monday.            Mike

THURSDAY – September 22, 2011

Good morning.  Here is a picture of my friends at the Vineyard about to feast.  I am feeling great.  I got up at 5:30 AM again today.  I don’t know why I’m getting up so early but it feels great.  Tonight my brother is coming down and we are going to take my sister out for dinner.  She is sailing down from Massachusetts and going to the Caribbean for the Winter.  She stopped at Atlantic Highlands for a few days.  I have a Port Authority meeting this afternoon and then we will take her to dinner.            Mike

WEDNESDAY – September 21, 2011

Good morning.  Here is a picture of another meal that we had at the Vinyard.  It is sea bass with a Portugese sauce and fresh veggies from the farm.  It was delicious.  I am feeling fine today and for the past two days I have been getting up at 5:30 AM.  Yesterday I went down to my boat to upgrade my chartplotter with a chip that I got from Garmin.  It seemed like it did not work.  So, I came home and called Garmin and said that I would like to send my unit out to them to repair.  They told me that it would cost $480.00.  I told them that was ridiculous.  They said that if I was near my boat that maybe they could walk me through a repair for free.  I then went down to my boat and called them and within 10 minutes the problem was repaired.  They also asked me what else they could help me with and I told them.  After about 25 min. I was done and I told the person that I was talking to…”do you know how much money that you just saved me”?  He started laughing and with this I thanked him for making my day.  Now you have a good day.         Mike

TUESDAY – September 20, 2011

Good morning.  Here are some of the Sea Bass we caught for dinner.  We had a great time and caught 35 delicious sea bass.  We had good weather and were able to do a lot.  It was really good  seeing all of my friends again.  I am feeling fine and am going to lunch today down at Atlantic Highlands with my sister who just sailed down here from Massachusetts.  She is on her way to the Caribbean.  Well let me shower and get going.          Mike

TUESDAY – September 13, 2011

Good morning.  Here is Kaya at halftime at her soccer game.  She was really whipped.  I got everything done that I had to get done yesterday and now today I have to pack for my trip to Martha’s Vineyard with my friends.  This will be my last entry until next week.  My back is a little better and other than that, I’m feeling OK.  Enjoy your week without me and I will be back soon.             Mike

MONDAY – September 12, 2011

Good morning.  Here is a picture of Kaya’s first soccer game.  I really got into it and was coaching and cheering from the sidelines.  I am feeling very good except for my lower back.  I have a great deal of pain.  I am about to go to the doctor today.  All of this pain is in my lower back.  I have a lot to do today so I had better get started.  Have a great day.    Mike
