FRIDAY – January 30, 2009

Good morning. I feel great today. I’m off to see another doctor shortly but they all can’t get over how I look and how well I’ve progressed. One doctor yesterday listened to my lungs and said that they sound utterly fantastic…like a baby’s lungs. The only thing now is the arthritis and Raynaud’s which I can deal with. It’s painful at times but it is not life threatening. Well, I have to get to the doctor so have a nice weekend and I will see you on Monday. Mike

Good morning. I am feeling good today eventhough I had a tough nights sleep. I am about to head out and go to the doctor for a 9:45 appointment. All is well as this is just a checkup. Mike

WEDNESDAY – January 28, 2009

What a horrible day….weather wise. I have been busy all day after a late night. I am feeling very good and plan to now go and make some clam chowder for dinner. Mike

TUESDAY – January 27, 2009

Yesterday I was a little under the weather from the cold weather this past weekend. It was so cold and the wind was blowing and I did not cover my mouth while walking. Subsequently, the cold air went right to my lungs and when I got up my chest was actually sore from the cold air. I do feel better today and have a lot to do. I will take it easy but I want to move around.

MONDAY – January 26, 2009

I got back from Boston late last night. Boy, was it cold up there. I went up with my brother and we joined up with our sister. It was really great all being together….but it was cold. A raw, bitter cold. I walked a lot and did not feel bad. I am a little tired today and plan to just stay indoors and rest up. I am feeling really good. My foot is still hurting and I plan to have that looked at ASAP. I saw your comment John and I want to know more about your career change. My e-mail address is mgeorge148@comcast.net. Mike

FRIDAY – January 23, 2009

Well it is finally Friday and what a beautiful day. I’m feeling very good. I will be traveling with my brother and his wife to Boston for the weekend. My brother has a wine show and I figured that this would give me a chance to see my sister. Enjoy your weekend and I will see you on Monday. Mike

THURSDAY – January 22, 2009

Sorry about yesterday’s entry but I hit the publish button twice and that is why I have 2 entries for Wednesday. I feel great today. I got up early, exercised, ate and did all of my paperwork. I’m supposed to go to Boston with my brother tomorrow through Sunday to see my sister but I’m a little concerned about the cold. Everything is fine and it is especially great not to have doctor’s appointments every other day. Now I may see them twice a month or whenever I need them. What a great feeling that is. Mike

WEDNESDAY – January 21, 2009

Well it is a nice, bright sunny day. Nice and clear and crisp. I am feeling very good. Nothing hurts and I have lots of energy. I exercise and work out in the morning to lubricate my joints and to stretch my muscles. I also use my Chi machine everyday and it also helps. TUESDAY – January 20, 2009

I am feeling very good. My only problem is that I like to sleep in the morning and that was never me. I always got up early. Maybe its the medication and lack of early morning sun. I don’t know but I do feel good. I’m going to ask all of you if you have some time to keep John Keegan’s name in your thoughts and prayers. I have been e-mailing him because he has Scleroderma and is having a pretty rough time. Thank you. Mike

FRIDAY – January 16, 2009

Well the end of the week is finally here. As I look back, I think about how lucky I am but as I watched TV yesterday an saw all of those poor people standing on the wing of an airplane in knee deep water on probably the coldest day of the year, I thought to myself….Michael, you’ve been outdone. What a true miracle that was. I feel great today and plan to get out a little but very little. Have a pleasant weekend and I will be back next week. Mike
